Mia Tobias

Mia Tobias is a manager overseeing campaign and lobby compliance for the firm’s Political Reporting Unit. Prior to joining Nielsen Merksamer, Mia worked in the Sacramento area where she gained over 13 years of experience in state, federal, and local campaign disclosure and lobby compliance.

Mia received her Bachelor of Arts in Government from California State University, Sacramento. As a student, Mia worked as an Engrossing & Enrolling Clerk with the California State Assembly Office of the Chief Clerk where she experienced the legislative process firsthand.

Mia is a member of the California Political Treasurers Association (CPTA). On August 1, 2017, Mia was awarded with an Assembly Resolution for her dedication and continued growth in campaign finance.
